A new calendar has been approved by Dr. Martirano since we have not used our incelement weather days. Please view the attached document for further details.

Dates that have changed:
June 6, 7, and 8-- half days
June 8 -- Last day for students 
June 11-15 -- Teacher professional days

Notes from the Principal

George Washington Carver Elementary serves children from Pre-Kindergarten Three to Fifth grade. G.W. Carver is designated as a Title I school. This distinction is based on the percentage of Free and Reduced Meals (80%) received by our students. As a result, G.W. Carver is the beneficiary of both state and federal money to help supplement the county funded budget.
