APEX LEARNINGNotice: students who are completing After School Quarterly Recovery courses for the second marking period must have all assignments completed with a minimum 70% overall passing rate by 6 pm, 19 March. Students who are completing quarterly recovery at home and need assistance in moving ahead with assignments should contact Mr O'Neill, Apex site coordinator, dboneill@smcps.org
Apex Learning is a web based, on-line learning program that has been approved by the Maryland State Department of Education and adopted for use by the St. Mary's County Public Schools system. Apex Learning has a multitude of uses, primarily serving as a recovery component for course credit. Chopticon High Schools employs Apex Learning for the following: Original Credit for English 12 as needed for graduation. Semester credit recovery during a daytime format, as student schedules permit. Semester credit recovery in after school sessions Quarterly recovery for specific courses in English, Social Studies, Math and Science.
