Please join us for the CPCS Annual Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday, October 3rd at 7:00 p.m. in the gym.
Ange Funya and Julia Nichols will be giving an overview about the $50,000 incentive grant that CPCS received from the Maryland State Department of Education. To receive this grant, CPCS will participate in the pilot implementation of the Quality Standards for Charter Schools Self-Assessment tool. The Alliance Board has approved use of the funds for non-recurring expenses in several areas throughout the school. We'll be sharing about those areas and the impact they will have on our students!
Also at this meeting, the membership will be electing a parent representative to the Alliance Board. Please remember that to be eligible to vote at the Town Hall meeting you must be a paid member of the Alliance no later than Sept. 13th. Please print out and send in your completed Alliance membership form with your $5 membership fee. Forms can be sent in with students or dropped off in the school office.
Parental support is critical to the success of CPCS and we look forward to seeing you on October 3rd!
