I am leading a campaign to collect the most food for Harvest for the Hungry in our county.  As always Great Mills rises to the top so I am confident we will be able to do this as a team.  I am asking each of you to speak to your students and to ask them to start donating cans or boxes of food now.  The campaign ends on November 6th although we are collecting all year as our local food bank has asked my Service-Learning group, Project Possible, to help them as they need food.  Therefore, please start collecting and encouraging our students to participate.
Thank you in advance for your help.

The public library now offers a new tutoring service entitled, HelpNow!  Besides tutoring, it also offers skill-building assistance to help students master a concept or skill through state-aligned lessons, presented by tutors in one-on-one sessions.  It can be accessed from the library’s webpage,www.stmalib.orgThe students must have a public library card to be able to access this new feature, though.  If any of your students do not have public library cards, they can get an application in the media center.
