First Freedom Student Competition
This national essay contest offers 9th-12th grade students to compete for a $3,000, $1,500 and $650 award. This years topic is about international religious freedom. Registration is requierd on or before Monday, November 23, 2009 and entry deadline is Saturday, November 28, 2009. AAA 65 Annual Traffic Safety Poster Program
The program continues it's primary aim of reducing traffic and pedestrian crashes, the No.1 cause of death for children 3 to 14. High school students have the option of presenting a poster, graphic arts digitally enhanced submission or an audio/visual Public Service Announcement(PSA). The message should caution drivers to avoid the many dangers facing teen drivers today. PSAs must be submitted in DVD format only(no VHS or CDR), must be between one and two minutes in length and must have a title page with the students name, school and name of the PSA. Schools must submit one PSA per DVD.
Oxford Summer courses 09-10
Oxford Royale Academy is now accepting applications for July and August 2010 via website at www.oxford-royale.co.uk. Students travel from over 70 countries to study with them each summer choosing from over 20 different academic courses. Their scholarship program offers finicial aid to students of up to $4,000. Clare and Robert Moore Scholarship Fund
The Clare and Robert Scholarship Fund offers a yearly $1,000 scholarship to a student interested in majoring in English and/or Drama at the College of Notre Dame of Maryland.
