Hornet Culture Day

 

 
13th Annual Hornet-Culture Day
Saturday, May 8th
 8am-12pm
(Rain date on Sunday, May 9th , 8am-12pm)
 
 
                                       Activities:
       Again this year, we will be bringing about 200 students,staff and parent volunteers to clean up, mulch, repair benches, create rain gardens, and plant annuals.  
                  How Can You Help?
    • Donations of any amount that we may put toward planting materials. (Please see the attached web donation form) 

    •  

  • We are in need of shovels, pitch forks, rakes (metal), wheelbarrows and gloves that student can use that day.  Please have them well marked.
  • Parents volunteers to help students and man specific areas. If you love gardening please contact us.  We could use additional adults on the committee.
The first 100 students will receive a FREE Hornet-Culture Day T-shirt and all students will receive a free lunch of at the end of the work day -11:45.
Please note: There is a minimum age requirement of 14 years old.
