We’re a Maryland Green School Now!  As of May 2010, Lettie Marshall Dent received the distinguished recognition of becoming a Maryland Green School.  Over the past two years (August 2008 – June 2010) the teachers at Dent have transformed how we educate our students.   Students have expanded their education through the integration of hands-on inquiry-based curriculum.  Environmental investigations empowering our youth to think beyond today;

Recently we learned that Mr. Fancella's National Guard Unit will not be deployed as planned, and as a result of this change will be returning to our school as principal on Monday, May 3, 2010.  Mr. St. Clair will remain with us to serve in a supporting principal role through June 30, 2010.
