National Honor Society

What is NHS?
The Robert E. King Chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS) is a school community service organization. Members are selected based on the four principle qualities of the National Honor Society: leadership, service, scholarship, and character. Juniors and seniors seeking a Maryland State High Diploma, who have achieved and maintained a 3.5 or higher, are considered for membership.

After students become National Honor Society members, they are reviewed periodically and must maintain the high standards of the Society. Active members in NHS are required to maintain a 3.5 GPA and live up to the character, leadership, and service ideals of the National Honor Society.
