MESA-Sponsor-Mrs. Dade and Mrs. Piotrowski Maryland MESA sponsors regional and state-wide events to develop and highlight the skills, abilities, and interests of students in math, science, engineering, and technology. Throughout the academic year, students conduct research and prepare to participate in competitions that demonstrate to educators and parents what they have learned through participation in the MESA Program.

Drama Group-Sponsor-Mrs. Laughlin The drama group will hold try-outs for the spring musical in January. The actual rehearsals will begin after the Christmas holiday and will involve Tuesday andThursday afternoons from 2 to 4 and at least 2 Saturday meetings, one for crew and one for the entire cast. Update on "The King and I" Due to the fact that this year's show is not until April 15-17, we will not have the auditions until after Christmas. Dec. 17 I will be showing the film to any would be partcipants. I will need a few adults to stay just to have adequate supervision. Permission slips will be availabe after the Thanks Giving Break (Dec. 1) Students must return by Dec. 11 to attend. Audtions will be held on January 5th and 7th from 2:30 until 5:00. Call backs will be on January 12th from 2:30 until we finish. I will make the final decisions that night and they will be posted no later than Thursday the 14th. Aerospace Technology Club-Sponsor-Mrs. Wasinchism Interested in building and flying aircraft think about joining the Aerospace Technology Club. Pick up an application in the Media Center. All applications are due on September 23, 2009. Club meets Wednesday from 2:05 to 3:30 starting on October 7st in ITS Lab 3. Questions see Mrs. Wasinchism
