What is the Identification, Prediction, and Intervention in Adolescent Reading Project?

It is a joint partnership between SMCPS and the University of Maryland to identify, predict, and intervene with adolescent (middle school) readers in exploring the cognitive and the motivational strategies that influence these students’ reading.

I must say that I am honored to be given this opportunity to work with the Margaret Brent Community. Margaret Brent Middle is an outstanding school with an equally outstanding staff. It is my goal to work collaboratively with the students, staff, and the parents in order to create the best learning environment possible. The staff and students of this school have already accomplished great things; I know that this outstanding work can continue through cooperation, communication and continued hard work.
