The 2011-2012 school calendar has been ammended.  The school year will be shortened by five days since the inclement weather days were not used.   June 6th, 7th, and 8th will be will be two hour early release days, with June 8, 2012 being the last day of school for students.

Welcome to Mechanicsville Elementary, home of the Mustangs. Mechanicsville is located in the northern region of Saint Mary’s County Maryland. While the external structure of the school was built in 1951 and has maintained a lot of its charm, we are anything but antiquated. We strive to provide our students with cutting edge educational experiences, as student achievement and meeting the needs of all of our students remain our highest priorities.
