June 6 - 8 will now be Two Hour Early Dismissal Days (1:45) -
AM Session PK students attend, no school for PM session PreK

Jun 8 - Last Day for Students
Awards Assemblies for grades K-4 will be held in their classroom.
The 5th grade Promotion will be held in the multipurpose room at 10:15am.
The schedule for assemblies are as follows :
9:30 - 3rd grade
10:15 - 5th grade
11:30 - 1st grade
12:00 - 4th grade
12:30 - 2nd grade
1:00  - Kindergarten

Last Day for Teachers - June 15

 

 Mr. Hyman is Retiring 
After more than 30 years of teaching 3^rd grade at Ridge Elementary, Howard Hyman is retiring at the end of this current school year. We are requesting submission of photos, letters, memories and notes from current and former students and their families. We will incorporate all submissions into a scrapbook for Mr. Hyman. Please submit any pictures or letters to Ridge Elementary and any email can be submitted to ebsmith@smcps.org. We would like to present the scrapbook to Mr. Hyman on the last day of school, Friday, June 8, so please have submissions in no later than Friday, June 1. Thank you.

Welcome to Ridge Elementary School. Ridge Elementary School is located in a rural setting on the end of the peninsula of St. Mary’s County, surrounded by water. Currently, we have about 290 students enrolled in grades Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 5.
