summer activities Registration is open
St. Mary’s County Public Schools is pleased to announce the registration period is now open for the 2016 Summer Activities. Registration for the summer programs began on April 1, 2016, and will remain open until May 27, 2016. RELAY FOR LIFE
Relay For Life teams camp out overnight and take turns walking or running around a track or path at a local high school, park, or fairground. Events are up to 24 hours long, and because cancer never sleeps, each team is asked to have at least one participant on the track at all times. The Ridge Moonwakers will be participating June 4, 2016. Click here for more information on supporting our team.

10:15.....5th grade promotion

K-4 grade assemblies will be held in the classroom.
5th grade promotion will be held in the multipurpose room.
Ridge Elementary School might be one of the smallest elementary schools in
St. Mary’s County, but that doesn’t keep students from achieving great things.
The RES Rockets robotics team claimed the top award in its division
for robot design, proving that big things really do come in small packages.

Message from the Principal
Welcome to Ridge Elementary School. Ridge Elementary School is located in a rural setting on the end of the peninsula of St. Mary’s County, surrounded by water. Currently, we have about 290 students enrolled in grades Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 5.
