Toys for Tots Drive
On November 28th, we will begin our Toys for Tots Drive. Toys for Tots was founded by the U.S. Marines in 1947 and Ridge Elementary School will be participating in this national campaign to support families in need. Please consider donating a new toy to support the St. Mary’s County Toys for Tots Goal to deliver “a message of hope to less fortunate children that will motivate them to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders.”
Congratulations to Mrs. Cendana’s PM Pre-Kindergarten Class for winning the month of October. We are so proud of our Pre-K students and families for recognizing the importance of attending school every day! Daily attendance is critical if we’re going to prepare our students to be “College and Career Ready” and we’re excited to see this habit beginning so early. Out of 19 possible school days, they had a full class for 13 days!!!! We have five more school days for November - which class will win in November????
