Introduction to Human Anatomy and Physiology
Students learn the structure and function of human systems. Topics include basic chemistry, cell structure and function, tissues and the skeletal, muscular, nervous, cardiovascular, respiratory, urinary, digestive, endocrine, and reproductive systems. Students study the basic anatomy and functioning of human systems including musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, nervous, and urogenital. Students earn one high school science credit and may earn credits with the College of Southern Maryland upon successful completion of this course.
This class is a one year elective.
The class requires two periods in a student's schedule.
