Friends of the Forrest Center 

 

Fifth Annual Soup Cookoff scheduled for February 1, 2010 

 

 
On Monday evening at 5:30 pm, the doors to the Forrest Center will open for the general public to attend our Annual Soup Cookoff. For a small entrance, you will be able to enjoy house soups as well as sample the soups competing for the coveted first place awards. If you would like to participate as a chef, call the Forrest Center at 301/475-0242. Entrance fees: $5 adults, $3 students, free for children under 4 years old. 
 
Skinner awarded scholarships
Bonnie Skinner has been awarded the Rotary Club's Graduate School Scholarship to pursue additional coursework. She also has been awarded the Emergency Nurses Association Scholarship. Mrs. Skinner is an Allied Health teacher at the Forrest Center. Way to go Mrs. Skinner!
