Message From The Principal
Hello Carver Families,
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and share how excited I am about my appointment as Principal of George Washington Carver Elementary School. I am so honored to join a school family that is focused on empathy, compassion, kindness, accountability, joy, and safety. I look forward to building upon the outstanding academic accomplishments of our students, collaborating with the amazing staff, and, of course, working closely with all Eagle families!
I would like to share some information about myself as we S.O.A.R. into a new school year. I began my teaching career at Piney Point where I taught third and fourth grades. From there, I moved to Esperanza Middle School where I taught math and then moved into an Instructional Resource position. Some of you may know me from my most recent assignment as an Assistant Principal at Great Mills High School.
I am so thrilled to be a part of the Carver family! I look forward to meeting you and watching how high our Eagles can S.O.A.R. this year.
Students will receive breakfast, lunch, and take-home meals for free this year. Visit smcps.nutrislice.com for menus and more.
