September 13, 2019
Welcome to the wonderful world of Pre-Kindergarten! Our first two weeks of school included exploring our classroom environment and learning our classroom routine. Together, we created our classroom rules, discussed acceptable classroom behavior as well as teacher expectations, explored our different work centers within the classroom, got to know one another, met school staff, and ventured outside the classroom, into the school and onto the playground.
On September 16, we started our first Frog Street theme (My School and Me!) We will review school rules and routines, sing songs, play games, listen to engaging stories, and continue to interact with our classmates. We will learn about our physical bodies and explore the wonders of our thoughts and feelings.
Our monthly character education trait for September is RESPONSIBILITY and our Mindset Focus is “Everyone Can Learn!” Our School Guidance Counselor, Mrs. Cox, visited our AM class last week to share a character lesson. This week the PM class will meet Mrs. Cox.
If you have not yet done so, please get connected with CLASS DOJO! Invites have been sent out. Check your phone or email.
