In the electrical wiring program, students will acquire the basic knowledge needed to create and build both residential and commercial electrical projects. They will learn how to use tools of the trade, and be introducted to different fields of electrical work, such as low-voltage wiring, and industrial motor controls. Students can receive articulated credits from the College of Southern Maryland and students may earn NCCER (National Center for Construction Education and Research), OSHA-10, NCCER Electrical Level 1, First-Aid/CPR certifications.
This program prefers students have completed Algebra 1 with a C or higher.
This class is a two-year program.
